The Truth About the 42 Foods You Need to Eat in Your Diet
The best thing I have learned is that everyone should be eating a healthy, nutritious and balanced diet when they are trying to lose weight. No one should be eating anything other than lean meats, fruits, vegetables and healthy carbohydrates. When you are on a “bucket list” of items, it doesn’t mean you can’t eat these things. The only thing you need to eliminate are those high calorie, high sodium, high fat foods. If you have too much belly fat and want to get rid of it, there are certain types of food that will help with this. Read on for a few of my favorite foods that will slim you down and keep your stomach fat down.
When you are a “bucket list” eater, it means you either don’t eat very healthy or you’re eating unhealthy foods. So the first thing I would change is my diet and get more fresh foods. Fresh meat, fresh veggies, healthy grains, fish, low fat dairy products and juice.
The second thing I would start eating more of are nuts
You can get nuts from an entire bag at the store or if you are in the mood to go cooking you can make your own. Some of my favorites are almonds, cashews, walnuts and some hard nuts like peanuts. These are the best ones that will allow you to get the protein you need while keeping you away from complete carbs like breads and pastas. There are other whole grain options that are also going to keep you satisfied.
Third, start drinking more water. If you’re drinking soda every day, throw it out immediately. If you’re not sure about this, start by having a glass of water with every meal. This way, you’ll know if you’re getting enough hydration. You’ll find that when you keep your body hydrated it’s much easier for you to stay healthy.
Fourth, cut back on your carbohydrates. This one might seem hard but it’s actually really simple. You’re not going to feel fuller when you cut back on carbohydrates. Your body is going to get that signal and get less energy. When that happens you’re going to feel like you’re starving yourself but that’s not what’s happening.
Fifth, you need to get more fiber in your diet. This can be tricky to figure out. The good news is that there are many different forms of fiber that are going to work for you. You might want to try psyllium or a high fiber diet supplement. They are going to help you have a full feeling without feeling bloated.
Sixth, eat more protein. Your body needs this if you want to get rid of fat. It helps you burn calories and keeps you from gaining weight. If you’re not getting enough protein you’re never going to get the results you want.
Seventh, make sure you’re drinking water. Water is going to keep you energized and is a very good weight loss aide. Also, when you cook you need to use enough water to make sure you don’t cook your food in oil. Cook with water.
Eighth, when you’re eating, chew your food. Chew your food between your teeth to help clear out your mouth. This is especially important if you’re eating a lot during the day.
Next, you need to get plenty of vitamins and minerals. There are tons of different supplements that will do the trick. If you’re not getting enough vitamins and minerals you will just suffer.
Finally, you need to cut back on fatty foods
They tend to clog up your arteries and cause a whole host of other health problems. If you want to have heart disease or cancer, you don’t want to put any of these foods in your diet. They are not good for you and they should be avoided if possible.
Those are the most common foods you need to eat in your diet to keep your heart healthy and your cholesterol down. There are tons of other foods that you should add to your diet as well. It’s all based on personal preference. I eat what I like and I’ve found that it helps me a lot. If I didn’t like it I probably wouldn’t eat it either!
