About this video: This video is our step-by-step guide on how to download and install the Neat+ mod in Minecraft 1.14.4 in order to add health bars to Minecraft. Health bars are a great way to see how much damage a mob needs to take before it dies, and can be super helpful when seeing exactly how much damage swords, bows, and other weapons do when you are enchanting/testing them. This is all done using the #NeatMod as it adds very efficient and high-quality health bars to Minecraft 1.14.4. So, without any more delay, let’s go ahead and learn exactly how to get health bars in Minecraft 1.14.4.
First and foremost, we need to download the Neat+ mod for 1.14.4. You can find the official download link for Neat+ in the description above. Once you are there, scroll down a bit and look on the right-hand sidebar. There, you will see a ‘Minecraft 1.14’ section. Under this, there will be a download. Click the purple download button here to be taken off to a page where the Neat+ mod will begin downloading. You will need to save this mod on Mozilla Firefox and keep it in the bottom left of Google Chrome.
Now, you aren’t done downloading just yet. You still need to download Forge for Minecraft 1.14.4. Luckily, we have an in-depth tutorial on getting Forge that goes over every single step of doing so. It even gives you the link to the official download link for Forge in Minecraft 1.14.4. You can find this link/tutorial in the description above. Just be sure you are downloading Forge for Minecraft 1.14.4. If you download it for a different version, it will not work.
Once you have Forge downloaded and installed, it is time to install #HealthBars in Minecraft 1.14.4 using the Neat+ mod. To do this, click the Windows icon in the bottom left of your screen, and search for the ‘run’ application. This will open up the Run desktop. In the text box in this app, type ‘%appdata%’, and hit enter. You will then be whisked off to your Roaming folder. Here you will have a ‘.minecraft’ folder. Open that folder, and you should see a ‘mods’ folder. If you don’t, no worries; just create one! After you have a mods folder, open it up and drag-and-drop the Neat+ mod that you downloaded into it. You have now installed Neat+ in Minecraft 1.14.4!
You aren’t done just yet though. You still need to make sure you are playing the right profile when you launch Minecraft. To do this, open up the Minecraft launcher, click the ‘installations’ tab at the top of it, and hover over the ‘Forge’ installation. Then click the green ‘Play’ button that appears on it. Now, Minecraft 1.14.4 will open up. Jump into a single player world, and you will have health bars!
